Happy New Year! It is 2009 and a good one it could be. I will be coming home, this year!
We are one year closer to.... you fill in the blank. Hopefully you have long range goals that you can aspire to attain or achieve that will complete that sentence.
Today is day 70 in the pull-up challenge. ... hang in there....

Mark,
Happy New Year to you too!!!!!
I am surprised you are still doing the pull ups!!!! Are your elbows still screaming???? Are you sleeping at night?
Mom
Why should you be suprised Mom? His elbows might fall off and I know he's not getting much sleep but if he said he would do it, he's gonna do it! Keep going Mark, I am so proud of you! I can't wait to see pictures of the 100th pull up!
I love you... CF
Ha! Ha! It's going to be hard pushing that lawn mower when you get home if your elbows have fallen off!!!!
Yes, I'm proud of you also, Mark, but some goals, New Years or not, are just not worth keeping!!!! Sometimes when you make a goal, you don't always know what is involved with keeping it. I would say permanent disability is one of those. I know so many people who are crippled today because of something they started years ago. They wish they could go back and undo it. I'm sure Colleen would not relish living with a spouse in constant pain for the rest of his / her life!!!!!!
Just a thought. . . .
I love you both too!!! How are you feeling, Colleen? Have you had any more trouble / pain with the kidney stones? Hope you're feeling much better. You too, Mark! (elbows / sleep!)
Mom
Mark you do what's best for you! I will support you all the way. As for me, I feel great and am gaining strength and such each day. It's amazing that one tiny stone robbed me of 11 days of my life!
